Salons, barber shops to reopen; spas to remain close: Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi/UNI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said in view of the lockdown instructions from the Centre, permission has been granted to open all the barber shops, saloons in the capital, while ban on the spa shops remains.

In a digital press conference, Mr Kejriwal said the government has decided to open the saloons and

barber shops, while the spas will not be opened at the moment.

Earlier, a limited number of riders were allowed on autos but now this ban has also been lifted. Apart from this, the limit of riders on a four-wheeler and two-wheelers has also been removed.

He said that now all the markets and shops will be opened, whereas earlier it was allowed only odd-even basis.

According to the instructions of the Central Government, curfew will be imposed from 2100-0500 hrs and only essential services will be allowed.

The Chief Minister said that in view of Corona epidemic, he has sought suggestions from the people to open the boundaries of Delhi.
