Renuka Singh plants tree sapling on World Environment Day
New Delhi, June 5 (IBNS): Renuka Singh, Minister of State for Tribal Affairs planted a Tree Sapling on the occasion of World Environment Day in the premises of Chhattisgarh Bhawan Guest House, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi here on Wednesday.
Every year, World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5th . Celebrating this event with wide participation has helped to spread awareness and mobilise ordinary citizens towards environment action.
This year, the United Nations has chosen the theme of “Air Pollution” for global action.
