Ranchi: People block road, burn tires after filth found in temple

Ranchi/UNI: Situation turned tense for some minutes in the state capital after people blocked road and burned of tires to protest against throwing of filth inside a temple located in Harmu area.

As soon as the news spread, a large crowd of locals gathered on the spot and created an uproar and blocked the traffic on road and burnt tires demanding arrest of the culprits.

Immediately a large number of policemen were rushed to the spot to prevent the situation from flaring further.

The people called off the road jam after assurance of action by the police officials.

The people claimed that the entire incident has been caught in the CCTV of the temple and police were going through the footage to catch the culprits.

Hatia ASP Vinit Kumar along with Kotwali DSP Ajit Kumar Vimal are camping near the spot to keep an eye on the situation.
