Kangra, Apr 20 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Industries and Technical Education Minister Bikram Thakur on Saturday asked Congress president Rahul Gandhi to come clean on his citizenship and qualification.

The Minister was speaking in the wake of the complaint filed with returning officer in Amethi seat in Uttar Pradesh against Gandhi's candidature in which allegations and objections have been made about his citizenship and qualification.

Addressing a press conference at Lug in Jaswant Pragpur segment, Thakur cited a complaint filed against Mr Gandhi. He said it is serious matter and Mr Gandhi should come out with factual position of his assets too.

The Minister claimed that a British company, in which Gandhi had said in 2004 that he made investment, in its submission to the authorities there stated that Gandhi was a British citizen.

Regarding the development in the state during the Jai Ram government, Thakur said that a national survey has put Himachal at second number in the list of the Indian states. He said that Jai Ram has achieved popularity among people that was matter of the pride.

He said that some political leaders were speaking against the Prime Minister however people of the country have made up their mind to see Modi as next Prime Minister.

The Minister was critical of Congress party for raising questions regarding ED, CBI, Niti Ayog and other institutions of the country. He hoped that BJP candidates in Himachal will win all the four seats in the current polls.
