Gandhi is scheduled to address an election rally in Karimganj Lok Sabha constituency in southern Assam, where polling will be conducted in the second phase on April 18.

He had visited the state on April 3 last, when he had attended two rallies under Kaliabor and Lakhimpur constituencies in eastern part of the state, with the two constituencies going to the polls in the first phase on April 11.

Besides Gandhi, Bollywood actress and party leader Nagma will be participating in a road-show for Congress candidate Gaurav Gogoi in Kaliabor constituency today.

Nagma will be taking part in a rally from Rangamati in Bokakhat to Kaziranga as part of her campaign trail.

Gogoi is seeking re-election from the seat for his second term and retain it for Congress for the seventh consecutive term.
