Rahul Gandhi visits UAE, interacts with business leaders

Dubai, Jan 11 (IBNS): Congress president Rahul Gandhi has commenced his UAE trip and met business leaders here on Friday

Gandhi attended a breakfast meeting here.

During the meeting, Gandhi was accompanied by Indian Overseas Congress chairman Sam Pitroda.

Gandhi arrived in the UAE on Thursday.

"A big start to the day, Congress President @RahulGandhi and @sampitroda meet with business leaders at a breakfast hosted by Mr. Sunny Varkey. @INCOverseas #RahulGandhiInUAE," the Congress party tweeted.

Gandhi also interacted with several Indian workers in the city during the visit.

"I am ready to help you people. I am here to stand beside you," Gandhi said.

Gandhi is visiting the country ahead of the Lok Sabha polls in India.
