President gives his assent to NJAC Bill
New Delhi, Dec 31 (IBNS): Ina significant development, President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday gave his assent to the National Judicial Appointments Commission (NJAC) Bill.
The Bill seeks to replace the collegium system of appointing judges.
The parliament had passed it in August this year.
