Prem Singh Tamang takes oath as Sikkim CM, Pema Khandu congratulates

Gangtok, May 29 (IBNS): Sikkim Krantikari Morcha leader Prem Singh Tamang took oath as the new Sikkim Chief Minister on Wednesday.

In the state polls, Sikkim Krantikari Morcha bagged 17 out of 32 seats.

Sikkim Democratic Front won 15 seats.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated Tamang in a tweet.

He tweeted, "Congratulations to Shri Prem Singh Tamang on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Sikkim. My best wishes to Shri Tamang Ji to carry forward development in Sikkim much ahead in his tenure."
