Prashant Kishor launches Jan Suraaj campaign in Bihar

Patna/IBNS: Taking one step closer to joining active politics, political strategist Prashant Kishor Thursday launched a mass campaign, dubbed as Jan Suraaj, in his home state Bihar.

Kishor said he will be meeting people from across the fields in the next four-five months.

Kishor said he will march for 3,000 kms from Gandhi Ashram from Oct 2.

Hinting at forming a political party, he said, "I can't say I will be the head of the party or become the Chief Minister. I will associate with people who will be equally significant in the party if it is launched at all."

Slamming both Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his predecessor Lalu Prasad, Kishor said, "Both the leaders have done nothing for the state. Even after ruling for so long, Bihar is the most backward state in India."

Kishor made the announcement days after his talks of joining the Congress fell flat.
