Police recover 90 kg of ganja, arrest one in Assam’s Hojai

Guwahati/IBNS: Police seized about 90 kg of ganja worth several lakh of rupees in Assam’s Hojai district.

Police also arrested a person in connection with it.

Based on intelligence input, police launched a search operation at Murajhar Jamunagaon area and recovered five packets of ganja from a house.

A police officer said that they recovered five packets of ganja weighing about 90 kg which were kept hidden in the house.

Police also arrested a person Jiabur Rahman and registered a case at Murajhar police station.
