Police constable commits suicide in Maharashtra

Nanded, Sep 7 (UNI) A police constable working at Mukhed police station committed suicide by hanging himself from ceiling, on Saturday.

The deceased was identified as Ankush Sangram Kendre (52), resident of Wagdhara in Loha tehsil of the district. He was working as a police constable at Mukhed police station. On Saturday, his wife and son had gone to another village.


When they came back, the mother-son duo found the door locked from inside. Even after repeated calls, Ankush did not open the door.


They broke open the door, only to find the body of Kendre hanging from ceiling. Mukhed police filed a case of accidental death.
