Police arrest two persons along with arms-ammunition in Assam's Karimganj
Karimganj: Police on Monday arrested two persons and recovered arms and ammunition in Assam's Karimganj district.
Based on secret information, a team of Nilambazar police station launched an operation at Binodini area under Nilambazar police station in Karimganj district and arrested two persons.
The police team recovered one 0.22 pistol along with a magazine, 6 live rounds and Rs 31,000 cash in possession from them.
A case has been registered at Nilambazar police station in connection with this.
