PM pays tribute to Syama Prasad Mookerjee on his birth anniversary
New Delhi, July 6 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid tributes to Syama Prasad Mookerjee, the founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, which is the forerunner of the Bharatiya Janata Party, on his birth anniversary.
"Tributes to our inspiration, Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee on his birth anniversary. His contribution to our Nation is invaluable," the PM tweeted.
"If there was something that mattered most to Dr. Mookerjee it was serving the people. He always spoke about education for the youth," he said in another tweet.
"Let us devote ourselves to fulfilling Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee's ideals," Modi said.
