New Delhi, Feb 26 (UNI) On a day of Indian Air Force's pre-dawn strike on terror-camps in Pakistan that kept him awake, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went about his day's programmes, including attending the Gandhi Peace Prize function at Rashtrapati Bhavan, addressing a public meeting in Rajasthan and later taking a Metro ride to the Iskcon Temple in the Capital for unveiling the world's largest volume ' Bhagwat Gita'.

Mr Modi boarded the Metro at Khan Market station on the violet line during the peak traffic hour to reach the Iskcon Temple in East of Kailash in South Delhi.

During his travel, the Prime Minister freely interacted with fellow passengers, revealing his public connect.

Several passengers took selfies and photographs with him and a visibly happy PM obliged all of them.

Modi also interacted with toddlers who came up to him during his travel while some of the passengers took blessings from the Prime Minister by touching his feet.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation spokesperson said the Prime Minister boarded the metro train at Khan Market Metro station at 1625 hrs and travelled up to Nehru Place, leaving the station at 1638 hrs.

On his return journey, Modi boarded Metro from Kailash Colony station at 1745 hrs and alighted at Khan Market station at 1756 hrs, the spokesperson added.
