PM Narendra Modi meets South Korean top leader Moon Jae-in, holds 'constructive' talks

Seoul, Feb 22 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday held 'constructive' talks with South Korean President Moon Jae-in during his ongoing tour to the country.

In a joint press statement, Modi said: "South Korea is an important partner in India's economic transformation."

As per MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar, the two leaders spoke on enhancing cooperation in trade & investment, defence and security, energy, space, Start-Ups and people-to-people exchanges.

Kumar tweeted: "Taking stock and preparing roadmap for future PM @narendramodi & Korean President @moonriver365 held constructive talks on enhancing cooperation in trade & investment, defence & security, energy, space, Start-Ups and people-to-people exchanges."

Modi is currently visiting South Korea.
