PM Narendra Modi highlights India's efforts for green growth at G7 session

Munich/New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday highlighted India’s efforts for green growth, clean energy, sustainable lifestyles and global wellbeing at the G7 session on climate, energy and health.

MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi in a tweet said: “Becoming pro-planet people. Investing in a better future."

“In the @G7 session on climate, energy & health, PM narendramodi
highlighted India’s efforts for green growth, clean energy, sustainable lifestyles & global wellbeing," he said.

PM Modi attended the G7 plenary on ‘Investing in a Better Future: Climate, Energy, Health’.

He is to attend a working session on ‘Stronger Together: Addressing Food Security and Advancing Gender Equality’.

He is to have bilaterals with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, with Indonesia President Joko Widodo, and the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, as well as the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
