PM Narendra Modi arrives in Abu Dhabi, says he is immensely grateful to Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for receiving him

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reached Abu Dhabi where he was welcomed by United Arab Emirates president Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Images shared by Modi on his X page showed, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcoming him to the city with a warm hug.

Welcoming his gesture, he posted on X: "Immensely grateful to my brother, HH @MohamedBinZayed , for taking the time to receive me at Abu Dhabi airport."

"I look forward to a productive visit which will further strength the friendship between India and UAE," he said.

Modi will visit UAE from February 13-14 and Qatar on February 14-15.

This is the Prime Minister's seventh visit to the UAE and second trip to Qatar.

What did Modi say before leaving for his two-day visit to UAE, Qatar?

Leaving for the trip, Modi said, "Over the last nine years, our cooperation with the UAE in diverse sectors such as trade and investment, defence and security, food and energy security and education has grown manifold. Our cultural and people-to-people connection is stronger than ever."

He added, "I look forward to meeting His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of UAE, in Abu Dhabi and hold wide-ranging discussions on taking forward our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

"I had the privilege of hosting His Highness recently in Gujarat, where he was the Chief Guest at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024."

Modi will address the members of the Indian Community from all the Emirates of the UAE at a special event in Abu Dhabi.
