New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday wished the country on New Year.

" Wishing you a happy 2021!," Modi tweeted.

"May this year bring good health, joy and prosperity. May the spirit of hope and wellness prevail," he said.

India is celebrating New Year on Friday.
