PM Modi launches BJP's membership campaign

New Delhi, Nov 1 (IBNS) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s nationwide membership campaign in the national capital New Delhi.

Modi said the BJP should emerge as a "diverse" party.

"Our country is full of diversities. Similarly, our BJP should also be visible as a party of diversity," Modi said.

"People from all section of the society, including the poor and illiterate, should  feel they have a representative in the party," he said.

In this membership drive, Modi became the first member of the party.

"PM Shri @narendramodi becomes the first member of new technology enabled membership campaign. #BJPMembership,"the party tweeted.
