New Delhi/IBNS: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday gave an audio message 11 days ahead of the Ram Temple consecration which will be held in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya.

Modi gave the message on a day the 11-day ceremony begins.

In his message, the Prime Minister said, "Only 11 days are left for the consecration. I am fortunate to witness the ceremony. This is a feeling beyond imagination for me.  I am thoughtful."

"I am experiencing such a feeling for the first time in my life," he said and added, "I am experiencing a very different thought and devotion."

Modi is one of the main invitees to the grand consecration ceremony of the Ayodhya temple scheduled for January 22.

He will preside over the "pran pratishtha" ceremony in the temple.

Congress, the principal opposition party in the country, has turned down the invitation to attend the ceremony citing religion as a "personal matter".
