Planning Commission's name changed to 'Neeti Ayog'
New Delhi, Jan 1 (IBNS) The Centre has changed the name of the Planning Commission to 'Neeti Ayog', media reports said on Thursday.
It was was established in 1950.
The move was made days after Modi met chief ministers of states over replacing Planning Commission.
Modi last year had said that a new institution would be formed in place of the Planning Commission. -
