People who came in contact with Coronavirus victim Saif Ali being traced for self-quarantine: Bihar Civil Surgeon
Munger/UNI: Munger health department is preparing a list of those who came in contact with Saif Ali, who died due to corona virus infection, during his movement and treatment at different health clinics in the Munger district headquarters during the last fortnight before shifting to the AIIMS at Patna.
Civil Surgeon (Munger) Dr.Purushottam Kumar told UNI here today that a team of health officials have been constituted to prepare a list of all those who have come in contact with the coronavirus victim Saif Ali at his home, in his locality and at all health clinics and pathologies in the district headquarters during his treatment during the last fortnight.
The Civil Surgeon said that after tracing and preparing the list of all the persons who came in contact with Saif Ali will be sent in self-quarantine for their life-safety.
The Civil Surgeon issued medical guide-lines to the family members of the deceased Saif Ali for his burial in the Munger town.
The health department has also directed them to limit the number of the mourners during the burial procession, he added.
Saif Ali, aged 38, hailing from the Churamba locality under the Basudeopur Out Post in the Munger town, was suffering from corona virus. He had come to his paternal home at Choramba in the Munger town from Qatar.
He was treated at different health clinics at the Munger headquarters before moving to the AIMS at Patna during the past fortnight. He died at AIMS at Patna during treatment today.
After his body was dispatched for burial, the deceased was tested positive for coronavirus, the officials told UNI at Munger today.
