Pakistan: 8 killed in explosion

Kurram Agency, June 3 (IBNS): At least eight people were killed as an explosion occurred at Khomta area in Pakistan's Kurram Agency on Tuesday, media reports said.

"A blast occurred when a car was moving towards Parachinar from Kurram but unfortunately collided with an improvised explosive device (IED) fixed along the road," Pakistan's Geo News reported quoting sources.

The injured people were taken to hospital.
