Opposition leaders hold strategy meet

New Delhi/UNI: Tiruchi Siva and TR Balu from DMK, CPI-M's E Kareem, PR Natarajan, RJD's Manoj Jha, Vandana Chavhn from NCP, Sanjay Raut and Priyanka from Shiv Sena, NK Premchandran of RSP, and ET Mohd Basheer from IUML were among the leaders who attend.

Congress' Lok Sabha leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Hasnain Masoodi of National Conference, Jayant Chaudhary from RLD also attended the meeting.

The meeting also came after four Lok Sabha MPs and 19 Rajya Sabha MPs were suspended for the remainder of Monsoon Session for disrupting the Houses.

Earlier Congress also held a meeting of its Parliamentary party Wednesday morning.

Wednesday is the third day when Congress president Sonia Gandhi has been called for questioning by the ED.

Congress leaders are set to stage protests in the Parliament and in different parts of the country.

On Tuesday, Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi were detained as they marched out of Parliament and tried to stage a sit-in protest at Vijay Chowk.
