No worry about Covid as long as infected patients getting cured: Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi/IBNS: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said the pandemic Coronavirus was not worrisome as long as infected patients were getting cured amid the steep rise in the positive cases across the country.

Speaking to media, Kejriwal said, "We have analysed the situation after giving relaxations in lockdown. We came to know that the situation is under control. There is nothing to worry if Coronavirus patients continue to get cured. Our intention is to stop the deaths."

Kejriwal was one of the first CMs to say that people would now have to live with the virus which has no cure or vaccine yet.

The total number of Coronavirus cases in India jumped to 1,38,845 of which 4,021 people have died.

57,721 of the total Covid patients, which forms approximately 42 per cent, have recovered.

The national capital Delhi, which is one of the worst affected region due to Covid, has so far reported 13,418 cases including 6,540 cured and 261 deceased.

Meanwhile, India resumed flight operations from Monday after a gap of more than two months since the commencement of nationwide anti-Covid lockdown.
