Nitish Kumar condoles loss of lives in Pune mishap, announces ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh

Patna, Jun 29 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today expressed his deep sorrow over deaths of 15 people from the state's Katihar district and others due to the collapse of a wall at Kondhwa in Pune.

Kumar in his condolence message here said that family members of each person from Bihar killed in the mishap would be paid ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh from the Chief Minister Relief Fund.

He said that Rs 50,000 would be paid to each injured for his proper treatment.

Kumar directed joint labour commissioner, Bihar Bhawan, New Delhi to rush to Pune and ensure proper treatment arrangement for all the injured.

Chief Minister also prayed for early recovery of all the injured.
