New Delhi: Fire breaks out in show factory

New Delhi/UNI: A fire broke out at a shoe factory in Delhi's Udyog Vihar on Monday morning.

No death has been reported so far due to the fire incident.

As per reports, a call about the fire was received by the police around 0822 hrs saying many workers were trapped inside the building which houses the factory-cum godown.

As many as 24 fire tenders were rushed to the spot to bring the blaze under control. Firefighters have rescued many but as per reports few people are still inside the building.

At the time of filing the report, the factory was still burning and more fire tenders are being pressed into service.

The cause of the fire is yet unknown.
