New Delhi: Fire at Shastri Bhawan

New Delhi/UNI: A fire broke out at Shastri Bhawan building in central Delhi on Friday morning and brought under control with no injury or casualty, Delhi Fire department officials said.

As per the officials, a call regarding the fire was received at around 1140 hrs and immediately five fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

The blaze which caught one of the rooms of Information and Broadcasting Ministry office there, was brought under control quickly, the officials said.

No injury or casualty was reported, the officials added.

Ironically, on Tuesday, a minor fire has broken out in the same building in one of the offices of Ministry of Social Justice. Shastri Bhawan, located close to India Gate, houses several government offices and departments.
