New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express catches fire in Assam’s Kokrajhar

Guwahati/IBNS: The New Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express caught fire near Fakiragram railway junction in Assam’s Kokrajhar district on Saturday.

According to the reports, one of the coaches of Rajdhani Express caught fire following which the railway staff detached it from the train.

There is no report of any casualty in the incident.

Later, railway staff had managed to bring the fire under control.

A group of NCC cadets under North East Directorate were also travelling in the train from Dibrugarh to New Delhi for Republic Day Parade Camp.

One of the coaches of Rajdhani Express (B7) caught fire and the NCC cadets traveling in B6 helped out fellow travelers, evacuating them from the coach  which resulted in saving precious lives.
