Narendra Modi to address nation shortly, COVID-19 cases in India cross 10,000
New Delhi/IBNS: At a time when the number of COVID-19 cases in India touched 10,000, Indian PM Narendra Modi will address the nation at 10 on Tuesday.
The 21-day national lockdown, which was announced by the PM last month, ends today.
Several states have already extended the lockdown till Apr 30.
The Prime Minister during his address to the nation on Mar 24 had called for the lockdown to stem the spread of COVID-19 which has affected 9,152 people (as per government data).

As per latest Ministry of Health website, the number of deaths in the country due to COVID-19 outbreak stands at 339.
So far, 1035 people have recovered from COVID-19 or they have been discharged from hospital.
