Muslim man in Assam renounces wife for voting for BJP
According to local media reports in Assam, the man has been identified as Ainuddin and he reportedly divorced his wife Dilwara Begum in Donam Addahati village in Sonitpur district for favouring BJP.
Her husband turned furious after Dilwara told him that she voted for BJP, which was against the collective decision of the villagers to vote for the Congress party, and he gave her 'talaq'. They were married for ten years.
However, some villagers claimed that they ended their relationship over some personal issues and not for casting vote in favour of BJP.
