Mumbai out of power, several trains rescheduled

Mumbai/IBNS: Mumbai, the financial capital of the country, faced power outage on Monday leading several services to a grinding halt allegedly due to TATA's electric supply failures, media reports said.

Several trains have been rescheduled.

The unprecedented power cut occurred little after 10 in the morning leaving people clueless.

BEST Electricity has put up a tweet, "The electric supply is interrupted due to TATAs incoming electric supply failure. Inconvenience is regretted."

Central Railway tweeted, " CR Harbour line restored from 10.55 am. Engineers are in constant touch with Grid experts. We will update about mainline soon. Appeal Do not panic. Please don't walk on track."

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, "Entire city in power outage .. somehow managing this message .. keep calm all shall be well .."
