Bhind, MP, July 3 (NITN): A man in Madhya Pradesh has been arrested for getting his pet dog an Aadhaar Card.
Mohammad Azam Khan, a supervisor at the Umri Aadhaar card centre, got an Aadhar card issued to his pet dog named Tuffy.

The matter came to light after one of the locals, Akhilesh Singh Yadav filed a police complaint saying the local Aadhaar centre had issued a card to a dog while he had to face trouble for getting one for himself, said reports.

Azam Khan has been arrested by the police and the Aadhaar Card issued in the dog's name has been confiscated.

Police is also trying to find out whether more cards have been issued to animals.
