Modi's life reflects determination to succeed : Obama

New Delhi, Jan 23 (IBNS) From tea-seller to Prime Mnister Narendra Modi's "remarkable life story" is a reflection of the Indian people's determination to succeed," President Obama feels.

In an interview with India Today just ahead of his arrival in Delhi, Obama has praised Modi for "a clear vision of the big things he wants India to achieve."

Accompanied by wife Michelle, Obama arrives on June 25 on a 3-day visit to India.

Describing his invitation to Modi or talks at the White House in September, 2014, the US says, "I felt that it was important for us to meet early in his tenure so that we could take full advantage of the new energy and new hopes surrounding his election."

He acknowledging that "no two nations agree on everything," Obama says, "When those of us at the leadership level agree on a course of action, our governments have to actually implement our decisions. We have to make sure that words are matched by deeds."
