Modi's Kashmir googly: Pakistan asks India to 'withdraw' envoy Bisaria

Islamabad, Aug 7 (IBNS/UNI) Pakistan on Wednesday asked India to withdraw its High Commissioner to Pakistan Ajay Bisaria.

A Pakistan Foreign Ministry statement said that New Delhi has also been informed that Pakistan will not be sending its High Commissioner-designate to India.

"Pursuant to the decision of the National Security Committee today, the Government of India has been told to withdraw its High Commissioner to Pakistan. The Indian Government has also been informed that Pakistan will not be sending its High Commissioner-designate to India," read the statement.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a high-level meeting and decided to downgrade bilateral ties.

In Delhi, BJP leader Ram Madhav said Kashmir is an integral part of India and Pakistan has no locus standi.
