Minor girl abducted and raped in Assam
Guwahati, Jun 11 (IBNS): In a shocking incident, a 14-year-old minor girl was abducted and raped by a boy from a different community in Assam’s Baksa district.
The incident took place at Salbari area in the Bodoland Territorial Area District.
According to the reports, the accused Aidur Ali, who introduced him as Rahul Nath allegedly portrayed himself to belong from the Hindu community to woo the victim.
The Muslim boy, a resident of Bongaigaon district had used to call her frequently on Jun 8 and he abducted her while she was on her way to her relatives’ house.
Aidur also raped the Hindu minor girl for two days.
The family members of the victim had lodged an FIR to Gobardhana police and police had arrested the accused Muslim boy on Monday.
The FIR stated that, the victim girl was abducted by Aidul while she on her way to her uncle’s home at Kalpani. Aidul took her to one of his relative home at No 1 Salmara village, Abhayapuri in Bongaigaon district and raped her for two days.
Locals alleged that, the incident was a part of Love Jihad.
Some local people alleged that, the accused Muslim boy had earlier also committed such type of crimes.
Meanwhile, police has arrested the accused and started investigation.
