Manobi Bandyopadhyay takes charge as principal of Krishnagar Women's College
Kolkata, June 9 (IBNS): Manobi Bandyopadhyay, who has become the country's first transgender college principal, on Tuesday took charge of her new responsibility.
She is the principal of West Bengal's Krishnagar Women's College.
In her Facebook post, Bandyopadhyay wrote: "1st Day As a Principal in Krishnagar Women's College"
Several people have congratulated her over Facebook for taking up her new responsibility.
