Man suspected to be infected by Niphah virus admitted in Jipmer
Puducherry, Jun 11 (UNI) A 53-year-old man suspected with Nipah virus has been admitted in Jipmer Hospital here.
Sources in Jipmer said on Tuesday that the patient from Cuddalore, and working in Kerala, was suffering with high fever.
Suspecting him for Nipah virus, the patient is being treated at an isolated ward.
Laboratory test reports are awaited for confirmation of Nipah virus to the patient, sources added.
