Mamata wishes India team after victory against Pakistan

Kolkata, Feb 15 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wished the Indian cricket team for their 'goodie goodie' start to World Cup by beating arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday.

"Whenever possible I follow India’s matches. Team India goodie goodie start to World Cup today. Congratulations," Banerjee tweeted.

Riding on a big knock of Virat Kohli, India beat arch rivals Pakistan by 76 runs to register a spectacular win in their World Cup encounter at Adelaide.

With their batsmen surrendering one after another, Pakistan were far away from the 301 run target India set for them riding on a scintillating century of Virat Kohli (107). Pakistan were all out for 224 runs in 47 overs.
