Maharashtra: Woman, son killed in road accident in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Apr 13 (UNI) A woman and her son were killed and six others injured when a car in which they were travelling rammed into a roadside tree in Harali village of this district of Maharashtra on Saturday.

According to the Gadhinglaj Police, the driver of the car lost control over the vehicle, following which it swerved and rammed into a roadside tree, leading to on the spot death of the woman and her son and injuries to six others.

The deceased have been identified as Maruti (35) and Soham.

The car occupants were returning from Pune after performing final rites of a relative at Gavthane village.
