Maharashtra: Two killed as bike rams into truck at Sangli

Sangli, Maharashtra, Apr 17 (UNI) Two persons were killed as rashly driven motorcycle rammed into a truck at Tasgaon Phata on Miraj-Pandharpur road in the district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Bharinath Baburao Metil (37) and Mohan Hindurao Bote (40).

According to police, the incident took place when the victims were travelling to Pandharpur by their bike ramed into a truck from behind, killing both on the spot.
A case was registered and further investigation is on, they added.
