Maharashtra: Three drown

Aurangaband/IBNS: Three people drowned in a pond of Moulkheda Shivar in Soygaon taluka here, police said.

The deceased were identified as Shyam rao Rathod (19), Pallavi Chavan(12) and Om Chavan (10), all residents of Soygaon.

According to them, the incident was occurred on Friday evening when they took their bullock cart to the pond for feeding water to their bulls.

They did not guage the gravity of water and their bullock cart turned turtle following which all of them drowned.

After the incident villagers rush to the spot and fished out all the death bodies from the ponds.

The bodies were sent for post mortem, police added.
