Maharashtra BJP leader Raosaheb Danve made MoS in PM Modi Cabinet 2.0

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, May 31 (UNI) BJP senior leader Raosaheb Danve,who became the Jalna MP for consecutively fifth time,has been made the Minister of State(MoS) for Consumer Affairs,Food & Public Distribution Ministry in the PM Modi Cabinet 2.0.

The BJP-led NDA government won the 17th Lok Sabha polls with a thumping victory and the elected MPs took oath at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi.

Mr Danve even held a ministry portfolio in the previous government and was later made Maharashtra BJP President.

Under his presidency,the BJP bloomed in Maharashtra as the party steered victory in the elections of several local bodies,civic corporations,and gram panchayat.

Hailing from Bhokardhan Taluka of Jalna district,the veteran politician Danve's winning streak as a MP started from 1999 and has continued since then.
