Kolkata: Singer Kabir Suman hospitalized with fever, shortness of breath, COVID-19 test result awaited

Kolkata/IBNS: Renowned Bengali singer-composer and former Trinamool Congress (TMC) Lok Sabha MP, Kabir Suman, was admitted to a state government-run hospital on Sunday late night with high fever and shortness of breath, reports said on Monday.

According to reports, the ex-Jadavpur MP is undergoing treatment at SSKM hospital's Woodburn ward.

Doctors said that Kabir Suman is on oxygen support as during admission his oxygen saturation had fallen to 90, and the famous singer's RT-PCR test result for COVID-19 is awaited.
