Know India initiative to celebrate India @ 75 concludes in Toronto

Toronto: “Know India” or “Bharat Ko Jano”, a programme to make people aware of the new India to celebrate “India @ 75” (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) , concluded in Toronto on July 9.

The programme was held for five consecutive days from July 5 to 9.

This programme was put up with joint efforts of Bharat Centre of Canada: A Policy Think Tank and the Consulate General of India in Toronto.

The programme provided knowledge and understanding about New India and shared information on India and on Canada-India collaborations.

This Program was multidisciplinary  and structured to explore the possibilities to understand the scope and opportunities that exist.

Number of awards, opportunities and certificates were provided after completion of the programme.

Among the panelists were diplomats and academics with participants  from different universities, institutions, think tanks, community groups in Canada and India.
