Kashmir: Three terrorists killed in encounter with security forces in Baramulla

Srinagar/IBNS: Three terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla, media reports said.

The encounter began in the Pattan area of the north Kashmir district late on Friday.

The encounter was triggered after a joint operation was launched by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police.

The operation is underway.

On Friday, two terrorists were killed by the troops of the Army's Rising Star Corps unit in Kathua on Friday.

Two soldiers were killed during a fierce gunbattle with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar on Friday, the Indian Army said.

Two other soldiers also received injuries while in action in the Kishtwar encounter.
