Kashmir: CRPF jawan, civilian killed in militant attack in Sopore

Srinagar/UNI: A CRPF jawan and a civilian were killed while three other personnel were injured in a militant attack on a security force patrolling party in the apple township of Sopore in north Kashmir district of Baramulla on Wednesday.

Official sources said that militants fired at a patrolling party of CRPF at Model town Sopore in Baramulla resulting in injuries to four jawans and a civilian.

They further said the injured were immediately taken to a hospital, where a CRPF jawan and a civilian succumbed.

'The health condition of two more CRPF jawans was critical,' they stated.
