Kangana Ranaut demands justice while meeting Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari

Mumbai: Days after the Shiv Sena-led Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation or BMC demolished a part of her Pali Hill office amid a bitter face off with the state government, actress Kangana Ranaut on Sunday met Maharsahtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari here and demanded 'justice' for herself.

Ranaut said she informed the Governor her point of view.

"A short while ago I met His Excellency the Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari Ji. I explained my point of view to him and also requested that justice be given to me it will restore faith of common citizen and particularly daughters in the system," the actress tweeted.

She also shared images of her meeting with the Governor.

After the High Court put a stay on the demolition by the BMC on the grounds of illegal construction, the development was seen as a victory for Kangana Ranaut, who said the BMC's move was just a vendetta.

The actor said the attempt to bring down her office by the civic body was a revenge against her for criticising the Maharashtra government for mishandling of Sushant Singh Rajput death case and comparing with Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK).
