J&K: Grenade hurled at poling booth

Srinagar, May 7 (IBNS) Miscreants hurled a grenade at a polling booth at Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday injuring a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel, said reports.

The incident took place at Pahlan Pattan area while voting was underway in the eighth phase of the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

Local media reported massive stone pelting in Baramullah and Sopore.

On Tuesday, a minor blast took place near a polling booth in Baramulla, said reports.

The explosion took place at a school in  Watergam area in the wee hours of Tuesday
 
No casualty was reported though the school building suffered minor damages.
