Jharkhand: Woman found hanging from tree in Ramgarh

Ramgarh/UNI:  Body of a woman in her mid-fifties was found hanging from a tree under Kuju Police Station area of this district.

The deceased was later identified as Savitri Devi (55), a resident of Torpa of Khunti district. Police said that the woman had been staying with the family of her younger sister for the last one month.

The relatives of the deceased said that the woman was battling mental illness.

She had left home in the morning on the pretext of having a morning walk but later hanged herself. Police has sent the body for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital.
